Rutherford Cross is delighted to be partnering with an attractive Glasgow based organisation to appoint a Finance Analyst (12-month FTC) with potential to extend or become permanent.
Reporting to the Head of Management Accounts, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Senior Finance Analyst and Head of Management Accounts in coordinating month-end activities and reporting across the organisation
- Consolidate, review, and challenge monthly results and forecasts; prepare reporting packs for senior leadership
- Drive improvements in financial reporting processes, including salary forecasting, project reporting, and budgeting activities
- Consolidate and analyse budget inputs against historical data and strategic objectives; summarise key insights for senior stakeholders
- Lead preparation of statutory and sector-specific financial returns (e.g. regulatory, compliance, and funding reports) in collaboration with other departments
- Respond to internal and external financial information requests accurately and in accordance with service standards and regulatory requirements
- Enhance the efficiency of the Management Accounting function by streamlining processes and optimising support provided to operational finance teams
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant
- Available within 4 weeks’ notice
- Detailed operational knowledge of business processes, management information systems and value drivers of management accounting
- Good Excel and systems knowledge
On Offer:
- Salary: £40,000 - £49,500 p.a.
- Hybrid working (1-2 days in office)
- Glasgow City Centre offices
