Location: Hounslow, West London
Contract: September 2025 July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £444 per week (PAYE)

A supportive secondary school in Hounslow is searching for a Sociology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their SEND and Pastoral team in September. This Sociology Graduate Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone interested in youth work, social care or education, and keen to gain practical experience in a school setting.
As a Sociology Graduate Teaching Assistant, youll work closely with students who have SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs, ASC, and ADHD diagnoses. Youll provide 1:1 mentoring, deliver small group intervention sessions, and work alongside SENCOs and external professionals to promote positive outcomes for pupils.

- Deliver targeted interventions and group sessions
- Monitor pupil progress in collaboration with pastoral staff
- Contribute to behaviour strategies and EHCP target-setting
