We have an exciting new vacancy for a Sous Chef to join our team at The Meon Valley Hotel & Country Club. This 113-bedroom Hotel is set in 225 wooded acres with plenty of amenities including a swimming pool, a spa and a gym, with good motorway access to commute to nearby cities like Southampton and Portsmouth.

Your duties will include:

  • Preparing, producing, and presenting meals to the highest standards.
  • Assisting in menu planning for our restaurant and event facilities.
  • Encouraging and developing your team members.
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Managing food deliveries and stock control.
  • Demonstrating creativity and innovation in your work.

The successful candidate will have a passion for quality food, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. You will be proactive, detail-oriented, and have a proven track record in a similar role, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in both food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
