Contract Business Analyst x2 - Digital Transformation – Retail

Location: Southampton (Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite per week)

Duration: Initial 6 months (with potential extensions)

Rate: up to £525 p/d Umbrella

Our client is undergoing a major digital transformation and currently seeking two experienced Contract Business Analysts to support two critical initiatives within their digital portfolio.

Projects:

  • Single Sign-On (SSO) Enablement: Help deliver a seamless customer experience by enabling unified login credentials across pre-booking and post-booking digital channels. A key enabler for personalisation and operational efficiency.
  • Payments Platform with Promotions Capability: Support the implementation of a modern payments platform that will enable dynamic pricing and personalised promotions for customers, drawing on retail-style “pricing and promotions” strategies to drive spend and commercial uplift.

Required skills:

  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience, ideally in large, complex organisations.
  • Minimum 18 months of prior contracting history (with demonstrated renewals).
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to influence at a senior level.
  • Experience delivering both small-scale and enterprise-wide digital initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Confident working across global teams, including offshore stakeholders.
  • Proficient in standard BA tools, techniques, and documentation.
  • Proven critical thinking, analytical mindset, and strong communication skills.
  • Comfortable working on product and technology change in digital environments.
  • Experience supporting platform implementations or customer experience transformations.
  • Understanding of digital customer journeys and platform integrations.
