Our client is seeking a Graduate IT Technician to join their team in Telford. Reporting to the Director of Engineering and Innovation, the Graduate IT Technician will implement, operate, and maintain the organisation’s computer systems and networks, ensuring users have efficient and secure IT functionality to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities - Graduate IT Technician- Act as the first point of contact for IT support, resolving user issues with computers and network devices.
- Maintain robust cybersecurity strategies to secure client and server systems.
- Ensure an effective business continuity and disaster recovery plan is in place.
- Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware components of IT systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues, repairing or replacing components as needed.
- Maintain and update technical documentation and test new hardware/software before full implementation.
- Support the planning and rollout of new technologies and applications.
- Minimum HNC in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration (Azure Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc.).
- Microsoft 365 Administration/Developer certification preferred but not essential.
- Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
