Key Responsibilities as Manager:
- Leading transaction project management, actively contributing to client meetings, and providing input on broader strategic matters.
- Overseeing risk management across engagements, ensuring compliance with firm policies and engagement terms.
- Drafting and reviewing transaction materials, including business plans, information memoranda, and financial forecasts with minimal supervision, and highlighting key issues for senior review.
- Defining project scope, assessing resource needs, participating in initial client discussions, and contributing to deal structuring.
- Developing strong client relationships by gaining a deep understanding of their businesses and identifying future collaboration opportunities.
- Managing buyer research and outreach strategies to support client transactions.
- Conducting research and preparing materials for new opportunities and proposal submissions.
- Collaborating closely with Corporate Finance partners and team members on business development initiatives, including networking activities.
- Taking ownership of specific areas within deal origination and business development efforts.
About You:
- Degree-qualified and/or a Chartered Accountant with 3+ years’ experience in a top-tier accounting or advisory firm.
- Solid exposure to corporate finance, valuation, or leveraged finance, ideally through roles in due diligence, lead advisory, or audit.
- Strong financial modeling and Excel skills, with advanced proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiar with financial data platforms such as Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
- Proven experience supporting or leading aspects of transactions, ideally across various deal types including private equity.
- Ability to research and identify M&A targets and opportunities.
