We are recruiting for an experienced Import / export operations clerk for our client who deals within fine art / high valuable shipping including paintings, antiques and sculptures. We are looking for someone who has strong experience in either imports or exports (ideally a knowledge of both) and completes customs entries, has experience dealing with galleries, museums, art fairs and private & commercial clients.
- Use of Descartes / E-Customs software
- Complete full entries
- Creating / cutting airway bills
- Raising & doing T1 discharges
- Updating customers on their shipments
- Processing warehouse transfers and customs controlled goods
- Liaise with airside staff
- Dealing with air and road freight
