Our client is a boutique, full-service property consultancy based in central London. Their expertise covers a diverse range of professional services including residential and commercial property management, investment and agency, lease advisory and valuation, placing their clients at the heart of everything they do. They are seeking an experienced and pro-active Senior Property Manager (PRS) to join their residential management team. You will be accountable for managing a portfolio of privately rented properties across London and providing support to help others within the team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and compliance of our client’s residential assets, while delivering excellent service to both landlords and tenants.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring high occupancy rates and optimal rental yields
  • Coordinate and oversee property maintenance, repairs, and refurbishments, working closely with contractors and service providers
  • Manage the full tenancy lifecycle for AST properties – from move-in to move-out
  • Conduct regular property inspections and report findings
  • Develop strong relationships with landlords, investors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and continued business growth
  • Supervise and mentor junior property managers, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance
  • Monitor rent payments and pursue arrears in line with company policy
  • Liaise with tenants and guarantors to resolve payment issues
  • Ensure all properties comply with current legislation (e.g. gas safety, EICRs, EPCs, licensing requirements)
  • Keep up to date with changes in housing laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records for audits and legal purposes
  • Maintain up-to-date records using property management software (e.g. PropMan, Dwellant)
  • Contribute to drafting of client reports and attend portfolio review meetings.
Personal specification:
  • A minimum 3-5 years’ experience in residential property management.
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of technical and statutory legislation
  • ARLA Propertymark Level 3 qualification
  • Ability to handle property-related challenges proactively and efficiently
  • Experience managing rental income, arrears, budgets, and operational expenses
  • Knowledge of property management software and Microsoft Office suite.

This role is offering a salary of £38,000 to £40,000 dependent on experience. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday from 9am to 5.30pm – hybrid working.
