Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop vehicle EDS (Electrical Distribution Systems) using SolidWorks Electrical
- Produce 2D and 3D wiring diagrams, harness routings, schematics, and connector schedules
- Collaborate with mechanical and systems teams to integrate electrical design into the full vehicle platform
- Interpret system requirements and vehicle architecture to deliver accurate electrical documentation
- Support prototype development and assist with design validation
- Ensure all designs adhere to automotive standards and safety compliance
Essential Skills and Experience:
- 5 or more years of experience with SolidWorks Electrical (2D and 3D environments)
- Proven track record working on automotive EDS systems
- Experience with vehicle-level electrical architecture in automotive start-up or niche volume environments
- Strong understanding of wire harnessing, connector selection, and electrical packaging within a vehicle
- Excellent communication and self-management skills in a remote setting
