Jack Links is a family-owned and value-driven business dedicated to crafting protein-packed snacks that are loved by consumers worldwide. They have an array of brands which includes some of the fastest growing and innovating protein snack brands such as Jack Link's, BiFi and Peperami.
We are looking to appoint a new Senior Brand Manager UK - this key appointment will oversee the growth of the Peperami brand in the UK and Ireland by co-developing and executing the brand marketing plan (incl. innovation co-development and market implementation); leading consumer-led initiatives to increase brand relevance and penetration while supporting sales initiatives in the market. The position reports into the Head of the Peperami brand.
Responsibilities
- Co-develop and implement brand strategy and brand positioning and evaluate effectiveness.
- Set up marketing plans to achieve brand and commercial goals.
- Development, implementation, and analysis of annual brand plan & communication strategies (ATL & BTL campaigns, Media).
- Co-development, implementation, and analysis of NPD launches, working cross-functionally with R&D and internal operations teams to ensure delivery of new products on time in full.
- Work closely with Category management, Shopper, and Sales teams to deliver strong consumer-centric propositions and through-the-line communications.
- Be a key member of the cross-functional Country Business Team (CBT) and Marketing & Sales Team responsible for delivery of the commercial targets.
- Support Shopper Marketing & Sales teams with necessary market, brand, and product information.
- Analyse market and consumer information to give clear recommendations to fuel future brand growth, e.g., spontaneous awareness, relevance, meaning, portfolio, pricing, and communications.
- Manage marketing budgets within guidelines.
- Benchmark and understand competitor & market best practices.
Experience
- +7 years (leading) FMCG marketing, with a focus on brand management including both communications, portfolio management & innovation development and launches.
- Project management & cross-functional team working.
- Proven experience in ATL and BTL communication development & implementation, including digital and social campaigns as well as Media planning.
- Proven track record in launching and executing NPD in market, delivering sales growth and incremental penetration.
- Market knowledge/track record in the FMCG environment in the UK (and Ireland).
