Role Overview:
We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Stourbridge. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping our machinery and production equipment operating efficiently, with a strong emphasis on mechanical maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and repair of machinery including presses, conveyors, and other production equipment
- Basic electrical fault-finding and minor repairs as needed
- Mechanical work including hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, welding, and general fabrication
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and attending to breakdowns
- Supporting production operations by reducing downtime and ensuring equipment reliability
