Are you looking for a flexible role where you are valued and can develop your clinical skills? Townsend Vets in the West Midlands are looking for a small animal vet to join our compassionate, dedicated team! We are a practice with deep roots in the local community, lovely clients, and a belief in giving our best to our patients and each other.

We believe in developing through our team members, with recent purchases of laparoscopic kit with multi-parameter monitoring and electrocautery, as well as digital x-ray, video-endoscope, ultrasound, digital dental X-ray, slit lamp, indirect ophthalmoscope, electrolysis, surgical loupe and tonometry. We currently have vets with extra qualifications in Behaviour and certificate-holders in Ophthalmology and Surgery. We also retain a visiting certificate-holding surgeon willing to teach or mentor in various soft tissue, orthopaedic or endosurgical techniques. We have a kind and highly experienced team of nurses and receptionists, and dedicated cat ward and cat and rabbit waiting areas.

This is a 1-year Fixed Term Contract for 38 hours a week with the choice to spread this over 4 or 5 days. Flexible working options are available. 1:3 Saturdays with day off in lieu respectively the following week. Opening hours are 8am - 7pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am - 5pm Saturday. No OOH work.
