The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE) is a world-renowned institution dedicated to plant science, horticulture, and biodiversity conservation. We are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where innovation thrives, and diverse perspectives are valued.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Digital Delivery to lead its digital transformation programme. Responsible for the development and implementation of RBGE’s digital strategy, this role will provide leadership and expert guidance on infrastructure, network, cyber security, and business continuity.
The successful candidate will be a champion of change and be responsible for managing complex projects using Agile and Lean methodologies. The Head of Digital Delivery will build and lead a high-performing digital team, refresh and implement RBGE’s digital strategy, leverage AI for innovation, promote data-driven decision-making, secure funding, manage budgets, and foster cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidate will have proven leadership in agile transformation projects, excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a proactive approach to technology solutions. Familiarity with emerging digital technologies, AI trends, cybersecurity principles, and GDPR legislation is essential, along with a degree in technology related discipline or equivalent experience.
