We are looking for a trend-aware and commercially driven eCommerce Visual Merchandiser to join our fast-paced fashion eCommerce team. You will be responsible for curating and optimising the visual presentation of our fashion collections online — ensuring a seamless and engaging digital shopping experience that reflects Sosandar’s identity and drives conversion. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for fashion, a sharp eye for styling, and a data-informed approach to online merchandising.
What you’ll be doing:
- Online Visual Merchandising & Styling
- Curate product listing pages (PLPs), category pages, and product carousels to showcase collections in a visually appealing, trend-led manner.
- Maintain visual consistency across the website aligned with brand aesthetics, seasonality, and fashion trends.
- Style outfits or "shop the look" edits to increase cross-selling and outfit inspiration.
- Content Planning & Campaign Execution
- Partner with marketing and creative teams to merchandise seasonal campaigns, drops, and promotional launches on-site.
- Own the visual execution of homepage layouts, new-in edits, trend categories, and designer/collection features.
- Trading & Optimisation
- Analyse trading data to influence product placement, push high-performing lines, and support underperforming categories.
- Ensure online categories are commercially optimised based on real-time data (conversion rate, add-to-bag %, exit rate).
- Conduct regular competitor and trend analysis to keep visual standards and merchandising fresh.
- Stock & Product Coordination
- Work with buying and planning teams to ensure sufficient stock levels for featured products.
- Flag low stock risks and help rotate product features in line with supply.
- User Experience
- Ensure a seamless, inspiring customer journey through intuitive navigation, consistent product categorisation, and fashion-forward storytelling.
- Use customer data (heatmaps, session replays, etc.) to identify and act on UX improvement opportunities.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 2–4 years’ experience in a visual merchandising or trading role within a fashion eCommerce environment.
- Deep understanding of online fashion retail, seasonal trends, and customer styling behaviours.
- Experience with Magento eCommerce platform.
- Proficient in Google Analytics and/or other eCommerce analytics tools.
- Comfortable with fast-paced environments and shifting priorities based on trade.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a creative eye for styling and product presentation.
Preferred:
- Basic Photoshop or image editing skills.
- Previous experience working with fashion imagery and editorial-style merchandising.
- Understanding of SEO, UX/UI, and CRO principles in a fashion retail context.

- 25 days paid holiday pro-rata, plus bank holidays, plus your birthday off!
- Holiday buy scheme
- Hybrid working
- 40% employee discount
- 4% employer pension via salary sacrifice
- Employee Assistance Programme (private GP consultations, prescriptions, physiotherapy, counselling, shopping discounts) for you, your partner and kids
