An exciting Design Studio in central London, including Architects, Interior and Furniture Designers, is seeking a talented Senior Residential Designer to join their studio. The practice prides itself on delivering understated, pure and inventive environments and works as a collaborative team, successfully delivering large scale Residential Penthouses and regenerated multipurpose interiors. The studio is large and open planned, allowing collaboration between the various teams.
The Role
- Minimum 6 years’ experience working on beautiful residential interiors in the UK.
- Strong knowledge across the design process with the ability to create beautiful interiors with care and consideration to the surrounding environment.
- A robust knowledge of producing and overseeing drawing packs up to stage 4 level of detail.
- A strong construction understanding with the ability to navigate from the concept design through to site.
- Excellent English skills, being verbally able to communicate with your team and clients.
- An interest and inquisitive mind for sustainability.
- Managing and mentoring younger designers when needed.
- Programming workflow when needed for your team.
- Vectorworks is an advantage, but cross training from other software is given.
