The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 Β£ per year.
As the selected Principal RF Engineer, your role will be split between designing RF systems at component level, and providing technical leadership for the development of projects. The right candidate will have a solid background in RF design, experience of taking a leading role on engineering projects and be an excellent communicator. The role is an 80/20 split in favour of design to leadership.
Responsibilities for the role of Principal RF Engineer will include:
- Designing and developing RF systems at the component level.
- Conducting performance tests and optimizations to meet specified performance criteria.
- Leading integration and prototyping efforts to ensure seamless integration of sub-systems with larger systems or components.
- Review projects progress, set priorities, and address challenges.
- Conduct design reviews to ensure RF systems meet performance standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with baseband, software, and audio teams to integrate RF solutions into broader projects.
- Assist mentors providing guidance and support on technical issues.
- Engage in project management activities, such as updating project timelines, managing resources, and communicating with stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
As the selected Principal RF Engineer, your experience will include:
- RF electronics design background.
- Strong ability to demonstrate technical leadership within a product development environment.
- Experience of specifying technical requirements and taking a lead role in delivering against these requirements.
