Insight Global is looking for a MDM Solutions Architect to join a large financial institution located in London for a 12-month ongoing contract. The candidate will be joining the Corporate Data Cloud Engineering Team and be involved in the full end to end implementation and transformation of their current MDM technology involved in external customer onboarding.
The candidate will be heavily involved at the beginning decision phase of the project and be involved in creating a comprehensive roadmap for the MDM technology to be implemented. As such, experience with creating an MDM Implementation strategy and implementing a minimum of 5 MDM and reference data management system use cases from an end-to-end perspective is imperative for this role.
As the domain expert in MDM and data warehousing, the chosen candidate will be creating proof of concept delivery including being a part of the development and integration work including product and solution discussions. Moreover, the MDM Solutions Architect will be analysing the data quality of the sources and listing the data quality metrics of the source systems as well as utilising their python and java knowledge and previous experience to help design scalable solutions for data analysis, integration, and eventual transformation.
The chosen candidate will also use data mining to uncover patterns, anomalies and correlations in large data sets and use SQL to manipulate data and support with design of custom solutions for the Corporate Data Cloud platform and other technologies used for MDM. The MDM Solutions Architect will also be heavily involved in working with techno-functional stakeholders and as such must be able to translate business requirements to technical requirements and vice versa. Therefore, strong written and verbal communication skills are imperative.
Must haves:- Experience as a Solutions Architect, creating roadmaps and involved in technical implementation
- Experience with creating an MDM Implementation strategy and implementing a minimum of 5 MDM and reference data management system use cases from an end to end perspective
- Experience with MDM technologies such as Reltio/Stibo
- Expert level skill on Informatica IICS or Matillion or AWS Glue or equivalent ETL tool which covers from extracting the source to building the complex mappings.
- Strong experience on data migration and reporting using ETL (Informatica, Boomi, DataStage, Matillion etc) and Reporting Tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience on Snowflake Storage and Database.
- Thorough experience with writing complex SQL
- Thorough experience translating business requirement to technical requirements and vice versa
- Experience with data quality tools
- Background in engineering, ideally with Java and Python
- Understanding of the SDLC and agile delivery methodology
- Possess out of the box thinking and innovative
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience Salesforce Data Modelling
- TOGAF Certification
