A truly unique opportunity to join a market-leading facilities management business as a Procurement Director. This key role involves supporting and executing the UK Procurement strategy, promoting and supporting the PEP, Diversity, and Sustainability strategies, as well as Strategic Contract Management and Supplier Relationship Management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the execution of the procurement strategic plan.
- Be a member of the Procurement Leadership team.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Account Directors to ensure alignment between procurement requirements and deliverables.
- Communicate and promote procurement initiatives, strategic direction, and current focus areas to account personnel.
- Support commercial outcomes, including achieving UK Procurement financial targets.
- Assess the maturity of the procurement function on each account.
- Leverage innovation, continuous improvement, and best practices across accounts.
- Implement and refine a compliance framework to measure procurement success.
- Identify opportunities for B2B engagement, self-delivery of services, and spend minimization.
- Organize procurement resources to meet client needs efficiently.
- Drive the Diversity and Inclusion Strategy.
- Lead procurement business development activities.
- Manage procurement aspects of transitions for new accounts.
- Support sector/country needs by leveraging category management experts.
- Operate as a team leader and motivator, encouraging diverse perspectives and teamwork.
Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of strategic sourcing/procurement experience.
- Specific experience in sourcing FM services.
- Experience in FM or Corporate Real Estate (CRE) environments.
- Experience managing client and supplier relationships.
- Proven leadership in managing and developing teams to achieve shared goals.
- Ability to develop sourcing strategies and lead their implementation.
- Effective management in a matrix organization with strong influencing skills across all levels.
