We are looking for two committed and experienced Residential Support Workers to join a supportive care team in Anstey, working with individuals who have complex mental health needs. This is a full-time temp-to-perm opportunity offering stability, training, and long-term career growth within residential care.
The Role
You will be working in a residential setting, delivering person-centred care to vulnerable individuals with a range of mental health conditions. Your duties will include supporting with personal care, behaviour management, medication administration, and encouraging daily independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver consistent, high-quality support for residents with complex mental health needs
- Support personal care, daily routines, and emotional wellbeing
- Follow and contribute to care plans and behaviour support strategies
- Administer medication (following appropriate training)
- Maintain accurate records and logs in line with safeguarding protocols
- Promote a safe, structured, and supportive home environment
Requirements
- Experience in residential or mental health care settings (essential)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of safeguarding and professional boundaries
