Salary: Β£12.50 – Β£13.50 per hour + sleep-in allowance

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Hours: Full-time – 40 hours per week (rota includes days, nights, and weekends)

We are looking for two committed and experienced Residential Support Workers to join a supportive care team in Anstey, working with individuals who have complex mental health needs. This is a full-time temp-to-perm opportunity offering stability, training, and long-term career growth within residential care.

The Role

You will be working in a residential setting, delivering person-centred care to vulnerable individuals with a range of mental health conditions. Your duties will include supporting with personal care, behaviour management, medication administration, and encouraging daily independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver consistent, high-quality support for residents with complex mental health needs
  • Support personal care, daily routines, and emotional wellbeing
  • Follow and contribute to care plans and behaviour support strategies
  • Administer medication (following appropriate training)
  • Maintain accurate records and logs in line with safeguarding protocols
  • Promote a safe, structured, and supportive home environment

Requirements

  • Experience in residential or mental health care settings (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and professional boundaries
