Employer Relations Advisor – Onsite – Wembley – Monday to Friday- £33-36,000 pa. Our client, based in Wembley is recruiting for a permanent employee to be welcomed into their team ER Advisor is a pivotal role in our People and Culture team where you will play a key role in providing support and administration to managers on P&C related matters across the business along with supporting the People and Culture Generalist and People and Culture Manager. To provide guidance, support, and coordination in the consistent and effective application of HR policies, procedures and practices of the People and Culture department in line with employment legislation and British Security standards (BS7858). Managing sensitive and confidential matters and protecting the security of information, data and files. Duties and Responsibilities Lead on any ER related correspondence Lead on Transfer of Undertakings (TUPE) process for all sites Support with note taking at ER meetings for example, investigations, probations, disciplinary, grievance meetings, etc. Processing and ordering uniform allowance requests Dealing and processing employee portal queries Responding and supporting to queries within the People and Culture mailbox Making sure all employee change of details are processed Administering the leaver process for all employees SIA chasing and updates – ensuring all individuals renew their SIA licences in a timely manner Supporting and processing all types of family leave (maternity, paternity, adoption) Following and administering the absence process Supporting the Long-Term Sick employees through welfare calls and Occupational Health referrals Ensuring all Return to Works meetings are completed and filed correctly Maintaining electronic filing system for company personnel files Monitor and action employee’s visa/work permits on a regular basis using the applicable HR tracker Carry out Home Office checks where applicable Arranging DBS (CRB) checks as and when required by Clients Support the department with any Audits (ACS, ISO, NSI) Sending reminders and following up with all interim and full-term probation reviews Support with the Advice & Counselling process Support with maintaining all Training ensuring this is administered through iHASCO portal, First Aid courses are booked, and everything is tracked correctly Administer the SIA reimbursement process Ensure all employees hold an ID card, and reissuing expired cards Process all loans/advance requests, ensuring the correct approvals are sought before processing Administering eye care vouchers for DSE users Processing CVF’s (pay increases) and EVFs (contract variations) Processing and supporting with the SIA watchlist on Fridays Accountable for monthly payroll process for all employees Statistical Information * Provide insights and compile relevant ER statistics for monthly Board reports (for example: TUPE, redundancy and restructures, investigation, disciplinary, appeals, grievances, client removals, absence, etc) * Maintaining statistical information including accuracy of information * On-boarding/ Recruitment/ Audits * Support the People and Culture Assistant and People and Culture Manager with security screening and recruitment as and when required * Understand the BS7858 standard and screen in line with this Customer Relations create and maintain a sound working relationship with colleagues, the management/operations team and across the Company as a whole Liaising with other departments and with Company clients as and when needed Ensure adherence to the Company’s HR policies and procedures and providing guidance where necessary Experience/Knowledge * Previous ER experience * intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email
