We are looking for a proactive and super organised Operations Assistant to join a young, passionate and dynamic team at a growing educational tech start-up. The ideal candidate will be confident, proactive and self-motivated. The team are spread internationally so whilst you will work with colleagues in London you also have to build and nurture relationships with those working globally. As the business is growing there is lots of scope for this role to evolve too.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Assisting with office lease agreements x3 (US, UK, UAE)
- Supporting with offsite & event coordination
- Arranging travel bookings for events
- Helping to roll out new policies
- Ordering office supplies
- Helping with office furnishing
- Coordinating maintenance and repair services for office equipment and facilities
- Scheduling & managing onboarding of new staff: send and collect laptops, track equipment leased and owned
- Assisting with new starter administration
- Overseeing work permit checks for UK employees and renewals
- Assisting with staff benefits
- Managing any visa applications
- Coordinating staff birthday cards and cake
The right person will have a minimum of 2 years PA/EA or operations experience and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. A confident and mature outlook is important and an ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously is key. This role would suit someone tech savvy, driven and forward thinking. This role is hybrid, and the offices are near Liverpool Street.
