We have a vacancy in the Carpentry and Joinery section of our Construction & Engineering team working in our state-of-the-art Construction Centre at Lancaster & Morecambe College.

Applications are welcomed from qualified industry professionals with up-to-date experience in the relevant trade or industry who do not yet hold a teaching qualification. We would expect you to have a keen interest in the development of young people entering the profession and be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and teaching potential.

This is a unique opportunity for you to transition to a dual professional teaching role at the College. We will support your comprehensive on-the-job training programme, including initial teacher training qualification; individual support and mentoring; and, if required, a reduced teaching workload in the first year.
