Reporting to the Contracts Manager, as a Commercial Gas Engineer you will carry out a wide range of commercial gas tasks at RAF Valley and the Anglesey area.
Your duties will include:
- Carrying out plumbing, heating and minor ventilation works
- Carrying out material take offs from drawings
- Conducting fault diagnosis of heating systems
- Completing reactive maintenance work on site
- Servicing Commercial Gas boilers and Overhead Gas Radiant Heaters
- Servicing Commercial Gas Catering Equipment
Our Requirements:
- Solid experience gained in a similar role
- Qualified in Domestic and Commercial Gas
- Proven experience in fault diagnosis of heating systems
- Have a NVQ / City & Guilds qualification in building services / plumbing
- Hold a valid CSCS card
- Non-Domestic Gas Safe certified
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Superb attention to detail, with drive to succeed and work well in a fast-paced environment
- Security clearance via DBS check due to working on MOD sites
- A full UK driving licence
- Although not essential, OFTEC, IPAF and PASMA accreditations would be highly advantageous, as would an SSSTS card, asbestos awareness and first aid certification
- LPG domestic and commercial experience would also be advantageous; however training can be provided
The Package:
- Salary up to £47,500 depending on experience
- Working Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm inclusive of 30 min lunch break
- 33 Days holiday inclusive of bank holidays plus your birthday off!
