Key Responsibilities/Experience:
- Complex Problem Solving: Provide solutions for drainage, civil, and utility engineering challenges.
- Infrastructure Planning and Design skills: Develop conceptual drainage schemes. Negotiate and secure S104 and S106 agreements with sewerage authorities. Interpret and discharge planning conditions related to drainage, highways, and infrastructure. Use 3D design software for utility clash detection analysis. Develop infrastructure design packages from concept through to construction.
- Software Proficiency: Expertise in Autodesk Civil 3D and MicroDrainage for network modelling in various environments.
- Technical Documentation: Produce technical memos, design reports, and drawings/models.
- Highways Design: Familiarity with UK design standards and experience negotiating S38 and S278 applications.
Required Experience:
- Post-Graduate Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a design consultancy or contracting environment.
- Project Work: Experience in both single and multi-discipline projects, with a preference for those with project management experience.
