We are looking for an experienced Workday Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of Workday implementations and enhancements across our clients' organisation, a PE backed Software company. You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders in Finance, HR, and IT to ensure the successful delivery of Workday-related initiatives that align with business objectives and support rapid scaling.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management of Workday implementation, integration, and optimisation projects.
- Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, Workday consultants, and third-party vendors.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate testing efforts, change management, and training activities to ensure successful user adoption.
- Ensure Workday configurations and enhancements meet business requirements and regulatory compliance.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
- Provide regular project updates to leadership and relevant stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement and best practice adoption in Workday processes and governance.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing Workday implementations or large-scale system upgrades, preferably within a SaaS or technology-led business.
- Strong understanding of Workday modules such as HCM, Finance, Payroll, and Recruiting.
- Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2, or similar).
- Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced, PE-backed environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working across geographically dispersed teams.
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable.
