We are seeking a talented Quantitative Developer with a strong background in front office technology to advance strategic initiatives in building front office tools. In this hands-on role, you will work on modernizing and extending our front office python infrastructure, which will unlock new capabilities for our portfolio management teams. Major Responsibilities
- Work with the business as an individual contributor to deliver key projects with far-reaching impact on trading, alpha generation, risk management and more.
- Decommission legacy tools and code.
- Centralize disparate Python libraries into high-quality shared libraries.
- Review Python code changes and assist with design decisions across dev teams when appropriate.
- Design and build tools, screeners, reports libraries for the front office and risk management teams.
- Assist with middle and back office reporting where required.
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What We Value
- 9+ years of experience in a front office focused quantitative development role.
- Master’s degree in computer science, mathematical finance, or related field.
- Experience working with relational databases such as MS SQL Server.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with fincad or numerix very helpful.
- Ability to work with business users to create technical specifications for projects.
We anticipate the base salary of this role to be between $180,000-200,000. In addition to a base salary, the successful candidate will also be eligible to receive a discretionary year-end bonus.
