The Opportunity
SiSU Health UK is seeking an experienced Head of Sales / Sales Manager to lead and drive growth in their corporate and insurer markets. This is a player/manager role where you'll lead from the front while building and developing a high-performing sales team. You'll manage a team of 2, with potential to grow to 3-4 team members as the business scales. This role combines hands-on sales leadership with team development, requiring someone who can drive sales performance while enjoying the challenge of building and motivating others. This role offers significant autonomy and growth potential in a rapidly expanding health tech company. You'll collaborate directly with the leadership team to shape the go-to-market strategy and build processes that enable scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership & Performance: Lead from the front as a contributing sales leader while managing your team. Own the full sales cycle for corporate and insurer accounts, from prospecting to close. Drive team sales performance and challenge team members to excel. Develop and execute targeted sales strategies for enterprise accounts (1,000+ employees). Build partnerships with health insurers to embed solutions in their wellness offerings.
- Team Management & Development: Manage and develop a team of 2, potentially growing to 3-4 members. Push the sales team to achieve ambitious targets while maintaining high morale. Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on results and collaboration. Provide coaching, mentoring and development opportunities for team members. Enjoy the challenge of building and motivating others to succeed.
- Strategic Development: Collaborate with marketing to generate qualified leads and provide feedback on messaging. Present the platform at industry conferences and events. Contribute to developing sales processes, playbooks, and tools to enable scaling. Work with leadership to shape go-to-market strategy and business development.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Essential Requirements:
- 5+ years in B2B sales with demonstrable success selling solutions priced £100k+
- Strong management and team development experience
- Experience selling and having an existing network within corporate wellness, reward, and occupational health sectors preferred (insurance sector experience advantageous but not essential)
- Track record of consistent quota achievement and team performance delivery
- Player/manager mentality - comfortable leading from the front while developing others
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Strategic thinker who can map solutions to complex client challenges
Preferred Experience:
- HealthTech / Digital health experience advantageous but not essential
- Experience in scale-up environments with evolving processes
- Passionate about preventative healthcare and improving health outcomes
- Degree educated or equivalent demonstrable qualification
