Future is one of the world's leading producers of short-form factual and social content, creating and distributing digital content for huge global audiences, brands, clients and platforms. As well as producing content for its original documentary channel, Truly, it creates video for all of Future's huge portfolio of market-leading brands. You will report in to the Head of Post Production and work with the Future Video & Social team to capture engaging video content right across Future's diverse range of brands. Video plays an important role for Future's huge portfolio and you will be at the heart of creating this.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Shooting and directing video for brands right across the Future portfolio.
- Working with the Head of Post Production, Director of Commissioning and the production team to capture footage that meets the editorial brief.
- Feed into pre-shoot discussions with brands, producers and creatives to ensure content is technically up to the required standard.
- To bring enthusiasm, expertise and ideas to a massively wide range of content - from gaming, to women's lifestyle to sport.
- Liaising collaboratively with team members to ensure timely and precise offload of shot content.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
- Experience with professional cameras, like the Sony FX6 & FX3.
- A great understanding of video and audio codecs and technical shooting standards.
- Experience setting up, shooting and directing video content independently and as part of a team.
- Experience setting up lighting and capturing good quality sound, in multiple locations, and operating cameras.
- An understanding of different social media video platforms' content and audience.
