Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working in exclusive partnership with our long-standing client based in Dundee to add a Senior Finance Assistant to their established accounts department. Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Senior Finance Assistant will play a pivotal role in ensuring that daily transactions are recorded accurately and contributing to the ease of financial reporting during the month and year-end processes. This role will suit someone who has strong experience gained in a hands-on, high volume role who is now looking to apply their expertise in a fresh, commercial and dynamic environment.
On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include:
- Management of the accounts payable process including reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Preparation of VAT returns.
- Working in multiple currencies, ensuring accuracy at all times.
- Continuously improving working processes and procedures within the accounts department.
- Playing a key role during the month end process.
- General accounts administration as required.
