Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all systems are monitored and alerts are handled appropriately for On-Prem & AWS systems administration, provision & secure data transfers.
  • Maintaining server, storage, network, and security infrastructure through infrastructure as code.
  • Writing and maintaining code for the creation of scalable/resilient systems/infrastructure/platform services.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues in production environments.

Must haves:

  • Prior experience using automation tools (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible, Foreman, Chef, Salt, Puppet).
  • Good knowledge of the various services and capabilities of cloud computing platforms; ideally AWS.
  • Experience maintaining build systems, source code management; e.g., TeamCity/GitLab etc.
  • Knowledge of IP Networking, DNS, and Firewalling.
  • Experience with Python, Shell Scripts, and command-line tools.
  • Knowledge of containerisation and related orchestration technologies.
  • Demonstrable experience of remediation projects, ideally within a PCI-DSS certified environment.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills and natural willingness to collaborate across teams and organisations.
  • Naturally able & productive with ITSM tools such as Jira, ServiceNow etc.
