Our operation based in Kettering are implementing a new customer and have the need for a Warehouse Shift Supervisor to coordinate and manage the day-to-day operational activities for the warehousing team. You will be responsible for leading and coordinating warehouse shift teams in order to ensure all customer requirements and operational targets are fulfilled to the highest standard.
This is a Monday – Friday role working either 7am – 3pm or 10am – 6pm.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Oversee daily warehouse operations: Supervise a team of warehouse staff to ensure efficient processing of orders, inventory management, and on-time deliveries.
- Lead and motivate your team: Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to ensure high performance and a positive work environment.
- Ensure safety and compliance: Monitor warehouse activities to ensure safety standards and health regulations are adhered to at all times.
- Manage workflow: Allocate tasks effectively to ensure smooth operations and timely fulfillment of orders.
- Troubleshoot issues: Identify and resolve any operational challenges or bottlenecks to maintain productivity.
- Report & communicate: Keep senior management informed about key performance metrics, warehouse performance, and any ongoing issues.

- A proven leader with warehouse supervision experience, ideally in a similar environment.
- Knowledgeable about health and safety regulations within a warehouse setting.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
