We are looking for a Trainee Employee Relations (ER) Advisor to join a leading national law firm based in Bristol. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Employee Relations within a supportive and professional environment.

The Role

Reporting to the ER Manager, you'll gain hands-on experience managing ER cases, supporting people projects, and developing into a trusted advisor.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing employee relations cases in line with employment law and company policy
  • Advising and coaching managers using a practical, solution-focused approach
  • Supporting people-focused initiatives and continuous improvement projects
  • Contributing to training and wider development of people practices

About You

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or currently studying towards it
  • Experience in ER (either in a specialist/generalist role), or strong HR Coordinator/Officer experience and keen to grow in ER
  • Solid understanding of UK employment law
  • Great communicator with strong problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Approachable, discreet, and professional
  • Experience in professional services is helpful but not essential

£29,000 - £30,000 plus a generous benefits package:
