Location: Avonmouth, Birmingham, Bristol, Gillingham (Kent), Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Nottingham, Swansea (Hybrid)

Salary: £34,233 - A Civil Service Pension with an employer contribution of 28.97%

Contract Type: Permanent Flexible working, Full-time, Job share, Part-time

The main purpose of the role is to collaborate with L&D Driver colleagues to establish customer needs in order to commission, source, develop and design fit for purpose L&D products in a cost-effective manner in line with the L&D strategy and meeting organisational needs and requirements.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Sourcing, designing and developing learning solutions in conformance to technical requirements, legislative changes, and customer needs.
  • Building feedback opportunities into learning products and pro-actively offer learning solutions based on feedback from a range of sources to continuously improve L&D Driver products and services.
  • Hosting of Learning Products onto the LMS platform as per agreed standards.
  • Piloting the delivery of new L&D Driver products and services to ensure it will be fit for purpose, whether delivered internally, externally or online.

About you

  • You will already have CIPD Associate membership or be willing to work towards attaining this level of membership within 18 months in post.
  • Experience of training and development needs analysis for organisations.
  • Practical experience of sourcing innovative training and development solutions by either researching and sourcing solutions from third parties and/or designing bespoke solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Experience of evaluation of training and development solutions and contributing to the continuous improvement of them.
  • Experience of working with external training suppliers, producing product specifications and good understanding of third party procurement policies and processes.
  • Good understanding of training and development product development and the delivery life cycle.
