A fast-growing renewable energy business, backed by substantial investment is seeking a commercially minded Finance Manager. Reporting to the Head of Finance and working closely with other senior stakeholders, this role offers more than your traditional finance remit. It’s a broad and varied position that blends core accounting responsibilities with commercial exposure, analysis, and project work. You’ll play a key part in shaping and strengthening the finance function as the business continues to scale.

  • Prepare monthly management accounts with commentary and insights for senior stakeholders
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and wider financial planning activities
  • Conduct performance analysis, partnering with the business to deliver meaningful financial insights
  • Assist in building and enhancing financial models to support strategic decision-making
  • Contribute to key projects aimed at improving processes, systems, and controls across the finance function

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent), ideally newly qualified or with up to 2 years' PQE. Strong technical grounding in financial and management reporting. Experience working in a fast-paced environment – exposure to renewable energy, infrastructure, or financial services is highly desirable. High level of Excel capability, with the ability to manipulate and analyse data effectively.
