A Food Technician is needed in an All-Girls Secondary School in South East London. This Food Technician role is full time, 8am to 4pm every day, Term Time Only. The team needs a Food Technician who can join them immediately on a temp to perm basis.
Your general duties as a Food Technician will require you to provide support to the Food Technology Department. This includes but isn't limited to safely handling materials/resources for classes, assisting in the setup of practical Food Technology lessons, and overseeing the ordering of equipment/ingredients.
The rates of pay for this Food Technician role will be between £90 to £130 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.
The School: An Ofsted rated 'Good' All-Girls Free School, located in the London Borough of Greenwich. They were established in 2019 and have since continued to provide high-quality teaching to pupils in the local community.
Requirements: You are welcome to apply if you are a Catering & Hospitality Graduate or experienced Food Technician. Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained Food Technician or overseas trained Food Technician. All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a Food Technician:
- Right to work in the UK
- Clear and up to date DBS
- Experience as a Food Technician in UK schools
