Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver – 4 Day Week (Tuesday to Friday) | Daventry | £15.00 p/h PAYE No Weekends | Weekly Pay | Immediate Starts Available
Wilson Recruitment is seeking experienced Class 2 Multi-Drop Drivers for our valued client based in Daventry. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for a great work-life balance with a 4-day working week (Tuesday to Friday) and no weekend work.
What does a typical day look like? It’s not just about getting behind the wheel. Our drivers are brand ambassadors and take pride in delivering an excellent customer experience. A typical day includes:
- Loading your vehicle and ensuring it’s roadworthy
- Planning routes and calling ahead to customers with delivery times
- Completing 5–10 multi-drop deliveries in local areas
- Unloading goods at customer sites (manual handling involved)
- Completing pre- and post-trip checks using our digital defect reporting system
- Ensuring all delivery data is recorded accurately using a PDA
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an efficient, safe and timely service
- Follow all road and health & safety regulations
- Act as a brand representative, offering first-class customer service
- Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained
What we’re looking for
- Full Class 2 (Category C) license with max 6 penalty points
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Previous experience in a multi-drop driving role
- A proactive, customer-first attitude
- Good physical fitness (some heavy lifting required)
