Are you a dynamic and innovative Welsh Tutor with a passion for teaching adult learners? Join the thriving Languages department at our ‘outstanding’ Ofsted rated College, helping to bring together people across London and beyond, and to enrich lives through learning.

The department offers courses in over 30 modern and ancient world languages, including Welsh, catering to all levels, from beginners to advanced, with both online and classroom formats, ranging from daytime, evening and weekend. This role will play a key part in enabling learners to develop their Welsh language skills and communicate effectively in real life situations.

We are currently seeking a Welsh Tutor for:

  • Welsh 2 upper: module 1, starting in September, 11 weeks, Tuesdays, 18:00 – 19:30, online delivery (possibility of teaching further modules from January 2026 depending on enrolments)
  • Welsh beginners: module 1, starting in September, 8 weeks, Saturdays, 13:30 – 15:30, face-to-face delivery (possibility of teaching further modules from January 2026 depending on enrolments)

If you are unavailable for the above courses but would like to be considered for the Talent Bank for other teaching opportunities that may arise in the Welsh programme area, possibly from mid-October 2025, please apply!

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Advanced level of verbal and written Welsh, with the ability to converse at fluent speaker level.
  • Experience of teaching Welsh, ideally to groups of adults.
  • Up to date knowledge, enthusiasm and interest for the subject.
