The Opportunity: This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join HarrisonParrott as Artist Relations Manager. You will be at the heart of our operations, managing the planning and delivery of complex, high-profile international engagements for a select group of world-class artists. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role that combines high-level administrative precision with artist-facing responsibility, requiring exceptional attention to detail, foresight and emotional intelligence. You’ll also take a leadership role in training and quality assurance, supporting the development of junior colleagues and helping to drive consistent excellence across the team. Working closely with Artist Managers, artists and promoters worldwide, you will play a key role in building careers, delivering projects and maintaining the highest standard of artist care. The key responsibilities of the role are:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for assigned artists, ensuring consistent, high-level support and communication.
- Managing and delivering all logistical and administrative aspects of artist engagements, including rehearsals, performances, travel, accommodation and visa/work permit requirements.
- Overseeing the preparation and finalisation of contracts, financial administration and coordination of tax and royalty documentation.
- Providing detailed scheduling and information to artists and promoters, ensuring smooth and professional delivery of engagements.
- Supporting the development and implementation of strategic career plans in collaboration with Artist Managers.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with promoters, orchestras and partner organisations around the world.
- Leading training and quality assurance for Artist Coordinators and Associate Managers, ensuring the highest standards across the team.
- Identifying training needs and supporting the creation of workshops and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
- Maintaining up-to-date artist materials including biographies, discographies and press assets, liaising with the marketing team for promotional needs.
- Assessing and sharing performance and recording reviews, contributing to career development discussions and public profile.
- Attending performances and rehearsals as required, acting as a representative of the agency and ensuring onsite support for artists.
The Person: We are seeking a highly organised, proactive Artist Relations Manager who is energised by the challenges and opportunities of working in a fast-paced, international environment. The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience in classical music management or a similarly demanding client services setting, with a clear passion for the arts and a deep understanding of the unique needs of artists working on the global stage. You will be detail-orientated and calm under pressure, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, tight deadlines and complex logistics with speed and precision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is a high level of accuracy and professionalism in everything you do. You will be fluent in English, with strong IT proficiency and demonstrable experience in coordinating international travel and handling visa processes. A good working knowledge of and interest in classical music will be a strong advantage, as will fluency in a second modern language, particularly German. Educated to at least undergraduate level, you may also have a music degree or similar background in the arts. Above all, we are looking for someone collaborative, adaptable and solutions-focused, with the resilience, commitment and people skills to deliver outstanding service to our artists and contribute to the continued success of HarrisonParrott.
