Security & Network Engineer

Our client is currently seeking to appoint an experienced Security & Network Engineer to strengthen their team in their Ipswich offices. You will be member of the IT Operations team, supporting the delivery of vital projects and the production and presentation of networking and cyber related materials. Please be advised this position is initially a 12-month contract. Key Responsibilities: * Work with stakeholders to understand their security requirements and enhance the overall risk management. * Produce reports for staff presentation. * Manage the implementation, testing and monitoring of security controls across the IT Systems. * Carry out training content and sessions to educate employees and enhance cybersecurity awareness. Previous Skills & Experience: * Practical experience with Entra ID/Azure/InTune. * The principles of SOC and SIEM. * Exposure to eSet or similar Security tolls suite including MDR/XDR. * Previous experience with Data backups/recovery and cloud solutions. * An understanding of Cyber threats and tracking of Cyber risk. * Knowledge of external cyber threat frameworks such as Mitre/NIST. * MC licencing control
