We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Data Quality Lead to join our client in West Sussex. This is a newly created role and the Data Quality Lead will be involved in developing and implementing data quality management strategies and frameworks, as well as overseeing the quality and integrity of data within the business and systems. The Data Quality Lead will be responsible for leading and developing a small team, ensuring their metrics are being met and driving continuous improvement in data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all relevant systems and processes. Working across the business you will develop relationships and work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and quality needs, and drive out resolutions to completion This is an exciting time in the company’s growth, they have recently made investment in new data sources and data quality management technology to meet commercial data strategy and compliance data quality needs. There is an opportunity for this person to come in and make the role their own. Skills & Experience needed; * Previous experience within a similar Data Quality role where you have implemented data quality standards, policies, and best practices. * Understanding of data management principles with experience of data governance frameworks. * Experience of leading and developing teams of data quality analysts * Experience with data governance and stewardship, ensuring data quality at all stages of its lifecycle. * Conduct data quality assessments and audits, identifying and prioritising issues. * Ability to define and measure key Data Quality KPIs * Ability to develop and implement mitigation strategies for data quality risks. * Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives data quality improvement projects, including planning, execution, and resource management. * Strong communication skills to influence business stakeholders and IT teams * Hands on and current experience with data profiling techniques to analyse data and identify issues * Strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes of data quality issues. * Evidenced delivery of automated solutions to streamline data cleaning * Experienced at creating dashboards and reports using BI tools, preferably Power BI * An understanding of relational databases, SQL Server/Oracle & writing SQL queries * Experience of using Aperture would be desirable In return they offer an excellent benefits package & development opportunities
