Our client is currently looking for a Group Reporting Accountant. This company based just outside Blackburn operates in multiple countries across the globe. This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing business at an exciting time of their development. This organisation offers flexibility and hybrid working along with an attractive package.
The Role
- Reconcile inventory receipts and despatches to ensure accurate cost of goods sold recognised in the period.
- Costed-product variance analysis, to determine freight / duty / landed costs built into goods accurately.
- Create payroll variance reporting by person, tracking YTD position vs forecast.
- Prepare divisional consolidated management accounts for the group, analysing variances vs forecast and providing commentary.
- Co-ordinate financial reporting into US parent.
- Review balance sheets for each entity, drive improvements to ensure accurate and complete.
- Lead external audits for all entities in UK, EU, Dubai and Asia.
- Manage 2 direct reports (management accountant and assistant accountant) to support achieving deliverables within agreed timescales.
Experience Required
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
- Demonstrable line management experience with the ability to support team members in achieving both personal and business objectives.
- Strong technical skills.
- Experience of consolidating multiple entities.
- Good analytical ability.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Experience of Netsuite would be highly desirable.
