Dudley area Monday Friday 05:00 15:00 / 07:00 17:00 £35,500 - £37,500 per annum plus call out & overtime pay. 25 days holiday plus BH.

Job role / duties:

  • Ensure plant and ancillary equipment is always operated efficiently minimising waste.
  • Undertake fault diagnosis and repair.
  • Perform regular checks and maintenance of fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
  • Installation, maintenance, testing and repairing of manufacturing equipment.
  • Fault finding and problem solving on electrical control circuits.
  • Assist in the development of PPM (planned preventative maintenance) systems and scheduling maintenance systems.
  • Maintain electrical equipment, wiring, motors, switches in good repair and operating conditions.
  • Diagnose and remedy faulty equipment to maintain safe operation and productivity to avoid shutdown or downtime.
  • Identify root cause of persistent downtime and recommend plans to improve.
  • Maintain equipment in safe working condition.
  • Maintain tool cleaning and storage procedures.

To be considered for this role you MUST:

  • Be able to work independently and on own initiative.
  • Be PLC literate and able to read LADDER diagrams and read circuit diagrams.
  • Have electrical installation experience.
  • Be at least 17th edition regs.
  • Have strong diagnostic ability.
