Salary: up to £26k

We are looking for a proactive, organised, and enthusiastic Legal Assistant to join our client's well-established Employment Law Team in their Redditch office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general support to the team, including court bundle preparation, documentation, and dictation.
  • Open, maintain, and close client files using ALB case management software.
  • Handle billing and client onboarding, including collecting initial details and sending care letters and ID checks.
  • Manage client calls and enquiries, including overflow and new leads.
  • Track upcoming hearings and maintain enquiry logs.
  • Research and coordinate attendance at local networking events.
  • Support business development through local market research.
  • Handle post and banking duties.
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support the office's smooth operation.
  • Assist with any other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a legal assistant or secretary (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of legal office operations.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with case management systems (preferably ALB).
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
