This position offers a specialist focus on estate planning and estate administration for agricultural and rural clients. Whether you are an Associate seeking a step up or a Partner looking for your next challenge, this is a rare and exciting opportunity to take the lead on high-value, complex matters, offering bespoke advice to farming families, landowners, and rural businesses.
The Role
You will play a pivotal role in delivering tailored succession and inheritance planning solutions to a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, particularly within the agricultural sector. Your expertise will help clients manage the intricacies of wealth preservation, often involving multi-generational planning and business continuity.
You will advise strategically on:
- Wills, trusts, probate, and tax planning
- Management and administration of landed estates
- Complex estate administration involving Agricultural Property Relief (APR) and Business Property Relief (BPR)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on all aspects of lifetime estate planning, including wills, LPAs, and trusts
- Manage and administer complex, high-value estates with agricultural and business interests
- Work closely with farming families and rural business clients to safeguard generational assets
- Lead client relationships with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Collaborate with teams across Property and Corporate on multi-disciplinary matters
- Mentor and support junior colleagues to promote a cohesive and supportive team culture
