As part of our exciting growth journey, we’re looking for a dynamic and data-driven Digital Paid Media Manager to join our expanding marketing team. This newly created role is a strategic hire, following a decision to bring our PPC and paid media activity in-house for the first time.
You’ll take full ownership of planning, managing, and optimising paid media campaigns across search and social platforms, working across multiple brands and customer segments. This is a rare opportunity to shape a role from the ground up, build internal capability, and make a direct impact on ROI and business growth.
You’ll join a friendly and forward-thinking team based in Sheffield, with the flexibility to work in a hybrid pattern.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, launch, and manage paid campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), and other relevant platforms (e.g., TikTok, LinkedIn).
- Take full ownership of budget management, ensuring efficient spend and pacing across channels in line with monthly and quarterly performance goals.
- Monitor performance metrics daily, delivering insights and recommendations to stakeholders and adapting campaigns to maximise ROAS.
- Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and A/B testing for creative, copy, bidding strategies, and landing pages.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop ad creative, manage assets, and ensure brand consistency across campaigns.
- Work closely with the wider marketing team to align campaigns with broader marketing initiatives and promotional calendars.
- Track and report on campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, and Meta Ads Manager.
- Stay up to date on platform updates, industry trends, and competitor activity to continually innovate and improve campaign strategies.
- Lead the development of in-house paid media best practices, and contribute to long-term growth planning and capability building.
- Proven success managing PPC campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager with strong commercial results.
- Strong understanding of performance marketing KPIs, conversion tracking, attribution models, and analytics.
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively in a newly created role, with a self-starter mentality.
- Confident using Google Analytics, Google Merchant Centre, and Excel/Google Sheets for reporting and budget tracking.
- Highly organised with a strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business environment with multiple brands or business units.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex insights clearly.
- Familiarity with emerging platforms like TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or Pinterest Ads.
- Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager, UTM structures, and pixel/tag tracking.
- Exposure to A/B testing frameworks, CRO, and post-click performance analysis.
- Experience managing campaigns in international markets or multiple languages.
- Comfortable briefing and coordinating creative teams or freelancers.
