Anson McCade is partnering with a global consultancy at the forefront of AI transformation. As demand for AI-driven solutions grows rapidly, they are scaling a brand-new AI Practice and looking for a commercially minded, strategic AI Business Development Director to help drive this expansion. This is an opportunity to shape how AI solutions are brought to market, influence major digital transformation projects, and work alongside experts in a highly collaborative and fast-moving environment.

As an AI Business Development Director, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end AI sales activities - from identifying leads to closing contracts
  • Work closely with the Head of AI Practice to define and evolve go-to-market strategy
  • Build strong client relationships and understand industry-specific challenges
  • Collaborate with delivery and technical teams to shape tailored AI solutions
  • Stay on top of market trends and communicate AI capabilities in a business-relevant way
  • Attend key events, represent the practice, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
  • Keep Salesforce and pipeline tools up to date and support accurate forecasting

What you’ll bring:

  • 6+ years in business development, including 1+ year selling AI solutions or platforms
  • Strong experience selling bespoke software/infrastructure services in enterprise environments
  • Ability to think creatively and shape solutions around client pain points
  • Industry knowledge in sectors like Telco, Banking, Insurance, Utilities, Manufacturing, Public Sector, or Retail
  • Understanding of current AI trends and their commercial relevance
  • Comfortable working independently while contributing as a team player
  • Consulting experience and strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Eligibility for SC clearance is a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: £90,000 - £120,000 (depending on experience)
