We are seeking a Social Media Specialist to join our Social Media team. Reporting to the Social Media Manager, you will be part of the dynamic team responsible for delivering engaging social media content covering Liberty’s people, place and product across all our social media channels (E.G. Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest). A key touchpoint for the Liberty brand, this social role is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to be part of an innovative retailer and leader in the luxury space.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • IDEATE, FILM AND EDIT social-first video content that feels elevated, speaks to the businesses needs and what is trending on social.
  • MANAGE the daily and weekly content calendars for select Liberty social channels including scheduling and publishing.
  • WRITE engaging copy that is reflective of the Liberty tone of voice.
  • GROW our audience by encouraging engagement with new ideas whilst driving traffic, engagement and revenue.
  • PROACTIVELY LIAISE with the graphic design, studio, editorial, marketing, events, buying, press, partnerships and events teams to ensure a joined-up approach to social media that meets business needs.
  • MONITOR content activity of competitors both in ecommerce and editorial and react to analytics and reporting and make relevant changes to content based on this.
  • PRESENT upcoming social media plans to relevant departments and use findings from the meetings to ensure social media content is responding to business needs.
  • MANAGE social media plans for key product launches, affiliate projects, influencer campaigns and brand promotions, creating bespoke strategies and sharing with relevant internal and external teams.
  • ATTEND after-hours events at Liberty and external locations, working with talent, photographers and videographers to produce content for social media channels as required.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Proven track record of shooting and editing video content (on phone).
  • Unrivalled knowledge of all social media platforms, formats and trends.
  • Confident with Premier Pro and Photoshop.
  • Excellent copywriting and creative thinking.
  • A great eye for design and visual concepts.
  • Understanding of the Liberty brand and luxury landscape.
  • Excellent organisation and timekeeping.
  • Experience of social media management tools.
  • Experience in community management across social.
  • Ability to cope well under pressure and with multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a fast paced, team environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in social media ideally within a luxury brand/retailer or agency.
