Amazing opportunity for an Estimator to join a busy, Multi-Million pound, award winning Tier 1 Fit Out Contractor in Central London!

About the role of Estimator
As Estimator, you will be working with an existing team of 5 Estimators of different levels, under the Estimating Director based in the City of London office 4 days a week, 1 day from home following successful probation period.
As a business we specialise in Cat A & Cat B Commercial Fit Out, Office refurb & Design & Build, working on projects ranging from £5m to £30m. We are a Multi-Million pound business, having exceeded our £250m turnover goal last year, we are now on track to hit our goal of £300m for 2025, with having secured most of our work for 2025 before it had even started!
Despite our success, we are a business that is focused on profit, not turnover. We are looking for someone who has 5+ years of Estimating experience, working for either a Main Contractor or Fit Out Contractor, to join our team

Responsibilities for Estimator
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for fit out projects (Cat A, Cat B, refurbishments etc)
* Work on competitive tenders, negotiated contracts, and framework opportunities
* Send out enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers
* Evaluate and compare quotes, ensuring they are compliant with scope & drawings
* Build & maintain strong relationships with trusted supply chain partners
* Identify commercial & technical risks in tenders and help mitigate them
* Work closely with design teams, project managers, commercial teams, and pre construction managers
* Participate in mid-and post tender interviews, and contribute to bid presentations
* Ensure that all estimating documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on time

Requirements for Estimator
* Minimum 5 years experience in Estimating
* Experience working for a Tier 1 or high end Tier 2 Fit Out Contractor / Fit out experience
* Familiarity with basic tendering & procurement processes
* Degree qualified in a Construction related subject, such as Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commercial Management etc.
* Understanding of Construction methods & building materials
* Good written communication
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Estimating software
* Eager to learn & take feedback
* Detail orientated
* Good team player
