We are searching for an exceptional Personal Assistant to support the Founding Partner of a well-established, family-run law firm based in Central London. This is a unique opportunity for a highly organised and emotionally intelligent individual to become the trusted right-hand to a senior legal figure, while also providing support to the firm’s Managing Partner. This is a dynamic and varied position supporting both the Founding and Managing Partners of the firm. The successful candidate will be adaptable and emotionally intelligent, able to shift between the differing needs and working styles of two senior executives. The primary focus will be on the Founding Partner, providing comprehensive personal assistance including diary and inbox management, arranging appointments, attending meetings to take notes and set reminders, managing correspondence, and offering general support with a calm, professional, and discreet approach. Support for the Managing Partner will centre around assisting with scheduling, briefings, and a range of administrative, personal and professional tasks.

The ideal candidate will be a polished and highly dependable, patient professional with at least 3–4 years of experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant, preferably with experience supporting at a senior level and handling personal matters.

This is a full-time, office-based role in Central London, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. The position offers a stable schedule with minimal out-of-hours expectations, and weekends are respected, allowing for a healthy work–life balance.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Provide day-to-day support to both the Founding Partner and Managing Partner
  • Manage diaries and inboxes, ensuring schedules are up to date and well-organised
  • Arrange and coordinate personal appointments (medical, social, etc.) for the Founding Partner
  • Attend meetings, take detailed notes, and set reminders/follow-up actions
  • Draft and manage personal correspondence on behalf of the Founding Partner
  • Act as a gatekeeper and liaison, managing access to the Partners and ensuring time is used efficiently
  • Keep the Founding Partner well-briefed, including reminders of previous meetings and key contacts
  • Provide discreet, calm, and professional support on ad hoc personal tasks
  • Assist the Managing Partner with scheduling, briefings, and administrative duties
  • Adapt to different working styles and needs of two senior executives
  • Represent the partners with professionalism and discretion, including in client-facing situations
  • Manage all administration for Founding Partner’s three main properties including communicating with household staff
