We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled teacher who is committed to improvement and excellence, with a genuine interest in supporting young people in achieving their best.

The caseload for this post includes young people in both the Primary and Secondary sections of this Junior High School. You will work in partnership with school colleagues, families and other professionals to plan and provide support and opportunities for pupils, including supporting transitions, work experience and inclusive learning. In particular, the postholder is required to support young people aged 10+ who need to access counselling services to be able to access these online, due to the remote nature of the school.

The hours for this post are flexible and could be timetabled across the week, dependant on the requirements of the successful candidate.

You must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland. This post is subject to Level 2 Disclosure Check with PVG for working in a regulated role with children.

Salary is based on Point 1 on the Principal Teacher Spine of the SNCT Salary Tables plus Islands Allowances.
